Terms of Use
Effective date: October 26, 2026
Who provides McHost
McHost is provided by Daniel Dobiáš, a private individual in the Czech Republic. Contact: [email protected]. By using McHost you agree to these terms.
Use of McHost
McHost is an Android app for creating and managing Minecraft-compatible servers on your own phone. You may use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes. You are responsible for how you use your server, who you invite, and what content is stored in your local server files.
Minecraft and server software
McHost does not include Minecraft. Every player needs their own legal copy. When you run a server you must accept and follow the Minecraft EULA and Mojang's usage guidelines. Server software, plugins and modpacks (for example from PaperMC, GeyserMC, Modrinth and CurseForge) are made by third parties and are downloaded under their own licenses; McHost does not control or guarantee them.
Accounts
Playing on the same Wi‑Fi works without an account. Online play, friends' servers, backups and Premium need Google Sign-In. You must keep your account secure. Do not use McHost to abuse, attack, overload, or disrupt other networks, services, or users.
Premium, purchases and ads
- Premium is a subscription (weekly, monthly or yearly) sold through Google Play. Prices are shown in Google Play before you buy. A free trial, if offered, turns into a paid subscription unless you cancel before it ends.
- Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel them in your Google Play account. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep Premium until the end of the paid period.
- Refunds are handled by Google Play under its refund policies. If something went wrong, contact us and we will try to help. Nothing in these terms limits your rights as a consumer under the law of your country.
- Free users can watch rewarded ads for online play time. Ad availability is not guaranteed, and play time has no cash value.
Server availability
Your server runs on your phone. Uptime depends on your device, Android system limits, battery settings, network quality, internet provider, router configuration, and McHost relay capacity. We work to keep the relay and other services running, but we cannot guarantee that they will always be available or that a server will always stay online.
Acceptable use
- Do not use McHost for illegal, harmful, abusive, or infringing activity.
- Do not attempt to reverse engineer, overload, bypass limits, or interfere with McHost infrastructure.
- Do not host content that violates applicable laws or the rights of others.
- Do not impersonate McHost, Mojang, Microsoft, Google, or any other third party.
To report abuse or illegal content on a server that uses a McHost address, email [email protected] with the server address and what happened. We may suspend or restrict access if we detect abuse or policy violations.
Liability
McHost is provided by an individual developer "as is". To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect damage, lost data (please keep backups of your worlds), or problems caused by third-party software, services or your device. We remain liable where the law does not allow liability to be limited, for example for damage caused intentionally or by gross negligence, and your mandatory consumer rights are not affected.
Third-party services and trademarks
McHost is an independent app. It is not an official Minecraft product and is not approved by or associated with Mojang or Microsoft. It is also not affiliated with PaperMC, GeyserMC, Modrinth, CurseForge, DigitalOcean, Cloudflare, Firebase, Google, or AdMob. Minecraft is a trademark of Mojang AB. Other names belong to their owners.
Changes and termination
We may update the app, these terms, or service limits when needed for security, reliability, legal compliance, or product changes. The date at the top shows the latest version. You can stop using McHost and delete your account at any time.
Governing law
These terms are governed by Czech law. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory law of the country where you live, and you can bring a claim in the courts of that country.
